Biography
roy fluke was born in the UK in 1921 and arrived in Sydney in 1928. In 1939 his studies at East Sydney Techincal College were interrupted by war service. He lost his leg in New Guinea and on discharge returned to his art studies. He completed his diploma in 1950 and later taught at the National Art School, Sydney.
He worked on semi-abstract paintings, sculpture and poetry. he has been awarded a number of art prizes and his work is represented in the Art Gallery of NSW as well private collections.
